For the Conference on Monday, August 8, 2022 and Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
The hotel is approximately 15-17 minutes’ walk from the campus. It will offer a shuttle service which can be arranged directly with the hotel concierge. When arriving on Campus, it would be best to arrive at the Morewood Avenue and Forbes Avenue intersection, near to the Walking to the Sky artwork. We will have student volunteers at that location to help with on-campus directions.

Travel
The nearest airport is Pittsburgh International Airport. The Carnegie Mellon University is about 23 miles from the airport by car (map). The Port Authority of Allegheny County runs a bus service 28X Airport Flyer (link). Amtrak train services arrive at Pittsburgh Union Station. The University is about 4 miles by car from the station. Morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks during symposium and workshop and lunch on both days of symposium are included in the registrations fees.

(walking distance from symposium venue). The presenters of the symposium will receive invitation by email.
Symposium Dinner
Monday, August 8, 2022. 6.30pm
Symposium dinner is a special occasion for the attendees and is not included in registration fee. Please reserve separately during your registration. This year, the dinner will be held at Carnegie Museum of Art Music Hall Foyer, which will be a short walk from the symposium venue.
